Welcome to the Curragh Girls National School

Our school is a Girls Primary School located in the Curragh Camp in County Kildare. We are the only school in Ireland to be located on a military base and are very fortunate to be located in the world famous Curragh plains. Our school was established in 1962. We have 10 classrooms, a large assembly hall, lunch room for the children, a fully equipped IT room and an award winning garden and courtyard (pictured below).
